Is IELTS/PTE required for a student visa to Finland?
For Bachelor’s programs, a minimum IELTS band score of 6.0 or PTE 55 or TOEFL 60 is mandatory.
For Master’s programs, you can apply to Universities of Applied Sciences with at least 2 years of relevant job experience after graduation. However, for Research Universities, a minimum IELTS 6.5 or PTE score of 62 or TOEFL 92 is typically required.
Can I work while studying in Finland?
Yes you will get 30 hours per week work permit while studying. In Summer break you can work unlimited time.

Is it easier to settle in Finland compared to other European countries?
Yes. After graduation, Finland offers a clear path to work permits, Permanent Residency (PR), and citizenship, even if your job is not related to your field of study. After Masters you can apply for PR with 1.5 years.
Can I take my spouse and children with me?
Yes. You can include your spouse and children in your residence permit application as family members.However, there might be a new law from 2027 applicants have to stay In Finland at-least 1 year then they can apply for family. It’s proposed not approved.
Can I apply without any language test results?
Yes. You can in Masters if you have 2 years job experience after graduation then you can apply without language test. In bachelor maximum universities required language test results to apply.
